Marie Phillips
The primary focus of my photography is nature and macro photography, utilizing Mother Nature’s spectacular lighting to create pictures reminiscent of the impressionist era. I believe that the magic of light is the key to photography as art, and imperative to creating a memorable photograph. Most of my pictures have been made while canoeing and hiking in State and National parks in the United States, and in Provincial parks in Canada. Some of them, however, have literally been taken in my own back yard.
