James Lentz
My name is James Lentz. I took up photography about three years ago as a hobby. It quickly became one of my passions. I'm always trying to improve my abilities with a camera; this is one of my reasons for joining the HCC. The critiquing process can be valuable for improving one's skills, especially when it comes from more experienced peers. I also feel that the HCC would be an excellent opportunity for me to gain experience preparing my work for presentation. I haven't had a lot of exsposure in an enviroment that required me to present, respond, and recieve constructive criticisim on my work. I'm currently a student at a local college and have lived in Harrisburg most of my life. Photography is something I would love to incorporate into my professional life, because of this I recently changed my major from psychology to journalism. I love current events, I love writing, and I love photography; I found pyschology interesting, but I didn't love it. I look forward to sharing tips, techniques, and ideas with other club members.
