• An exhibition by photographer Larry Rankin is hosted by the Carlisle YWCA, 301 G. Street, from November 3 through December 31.  Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Call the YWCA at 243-3818 for evening and weekend hours which depend on programming. A percentage of sales from this exhibit benefit the YWCA.  This exhibit features English landscapes and architecture, and includes a variety of other examples of Larry’s nature and fine art photography.
  
   

Local Photographic Events 

• The manager of the Midtown Cinema, Zane Sebasovich, is seeking artists to exhibit at the theatre on Reily Street in Harrisburg.  All media are welcome…he's planning to acquire glass display cases for 3-d work.  Please contact him at 557-2997, or at z.sebasovich@powers-associates.com if interested in applying for an exhibit at the Cinema. It's a very nice space, and gets lots of traffic!
  
  
• FotoWeek DC - a non-profit organization - has planned a total photographic immersion, featuring the latest in documentary, fine art, and every genre of photography - and feel free to overindulge, because most of these events are free.

  The date is November 7th - 14th and the place is all around the city, from our nation's prestigious museums and institutions to embassies, cutting edge galleries, and even public schools.  (http://www.fotoweekdc.org/)
